- Change the logo of the company in both sides and in the funnel.
- Saint of aft ramp.
- Built and install new seacheast filter box, closing the seachest by divers.
- Built and install several pipes in galvanized steel fot the auxiliary engine cooling system.
- Trabajos subacuáticos para desmontaje de rejillas y fabricación y colocación de tapones de fondo.
- Weld some cracks berside the bowthruster tunnel.

The vessel SARA I belong to the Egyptian Owner, El Salam Shipping & Trading is a ferry that normally do the travel between Algeciras and Tanger. She came to Cernaval Shipyard to do the docking required to re-new the Classification Certificate.
The vessel arrives on February 7th and left the floating dock on February 23 to go to Algeciras to get passengers to Tanger. In the floating dock the following works were done: - High pressure hull cleaning (400 bars)
- Hull Painting and side painting.
- Thickness measurements with report
- Sea Valves checking, re-new some of them.
- Cleaning of sea chests
- Re-new of zinc anodes of 11 kg
- HP cleaning and measurement and report of both anchor chains, cleaning the anchor boxes.
- Clearances of shaft and rudder.
- Withdraw of tailshaft, with ultrasonic measurements, changed the stern tube guides.

The vessel “Ciudad de Sevilla” is a ferry belong to the company ACCIONA Trasmediterranea. This vessel is one of the kind called “Canguros” which was to the dock to review the intermediate visit to check the hull and other preventive maintenance works. The vessel arrives to the shipyard on January 18th, starting then all the maintenance afloat works. She was to the floating dock on February 26th and left it on March 16th . Then she was to the berthing area to finish the test of the davits. In the floating dock the following works were done: - High pressure hull cleaning (400 bars)
- Hull Painting and side painting. All the accommodation windows were protected previously.
- Thickness measurements with report
- Sea Valves checking, re-new some of them.
- Cleaning of the sea water suction pipe with high pressure.
- Cleaning of sea chests
- Re-new of zinc anodes of 11 kg
- Clearances of shaft and rudder.
- Withdraw of tailshaft, with ultrasonic measurements.
- HP cleaning and measurement and report of both anchor chains

The vessel “MSC HOGGAR” is a container vessel of the Turkish Owner BAYRAKTAR SHIPPING. She came to the floating dock to change the bush of the rudder pintle because the existing ones had bigger clearances than allowed. The vessel went to the floating dock on March 20th until March 26th. In addition of the necessary works to change the mentioned bush, the following works were done: - High pressure hull cleaning (400 bars)
- Hull Painting and side painting., including all the hull marking
- Sea Valves checking.
- Cleaning of sea chests
- Re-new of zinc anodes of 11 kg.
- Clearances of shaft and rudder.
- Anchors and chain were lowered/lifted on dock plan, HP washed, checked and marked the shakles, calibrated and reported.

The vessel “WESTWIND” is a General Cargo Ship belong to the German company, BEFRACHTUNGSKOINTOR EIDER GMBH - High pressure hull cleaning (400 bars)
- Hull Painting and side painting., including all the hull marking
- Sea Valves checking, only four
- Cleaning of sea chests
- Re-new of zinc anodes of 11 kg, supply by the yard.
- Clearances of shaft and rudder.
- Dismount and cleaning of Box coolers (7)
- Check of liferafts.
- Changed some steps of different exterior stairs.
- Mounted of part of exhaust pipe of 165 mm of diameter.
The vessel was on the floating dock from March 27th until March 31st. |

The vessel “Bow Lancer” is a chemical vessel of the Norway company, SODFJELL ASA. She came to CERNAVAL Shipyards to solve a problem with steel in bad conditions, in the ceiling of the aft peak tank. The vessel arrives to the shipyard on January 30th of 2007 and left on February 4th, doing all the works in double shift. The main works done were: - Re-new of steel in the ceiling of the aft peak tank (floor of engine room near the port boiler) with some interferences because coincide with the floor of the port boiler and around a vent duct of auxiliary engines room.
- Re-new of 100% of deck powder system with more than 450 m of pipes with all its accessories.
Both works were done under Classification Society (Det Norske Veritas) approval. The steel works were checked by ultrasonic measurements and the pipes were hydraulic tested. |

The vessel GSI PACIFIC is an ocenographic vessel of canadian flan belongs to GEOPHYSICAL SERVICE INCORPORATED. The vessel arrived to berthing area of CERNAVAL Shipyard to do the following afloat works: - Cleaning of ballast tanks nº 5 C, 7 and 8 port and starboard side.
- Cleaning of fuel oil tank nº 6 port and starboard side, with gas-free certificate.
- Re-new steel in tank nº 7 port and starboard, from cealing and interior bulkhead in contact with tanks nº 6 and 8. To get easier the works to do inside the tanks some openings were done in the side of the vessel.
- Re-new gasket of accommodation fire fighting doors.
- Annual inspection of lifesaving and fire fighting equipment.
- Prefabrication and installation of pipes in engine room,
- Change steel in the deck where exhaust pipes cross the funnel, all around the pipe. Also some exterior pipes were changed.
- Change some damage steel piece in the pilot main entrance.
- Repair the support of the main engine port ventilation fans
The vessel stayed in CERNAVAL from February 16th to April 12th. |

ACCIONA Trasmediterranea contact with CERNAVAL Shipyard urgent, to attend the damages in the flat bottom of the hull of their ferry “CIUDAD DE MÁLAGA” due to the grounding in Tanger Harbour on January 22nd of 2007.
The following damages were detected in a first diving inspection in Tanger: - Water inlet of 130 cm of length and 20 cm of depth
- Water inlet of 60 cm of length and 17 cem of depth
- Water inlet of 30 cm of length and 12 cm of depth
- Several Scratch and deformations all around the flan bottom in 43 square meters

The vessel “Santa Cruz de Tenerife” is a ferry belongs to the Spanish company ACCIONA Trasmediterranea, which came to the floating dock to renew the Classification Society and flag Certificates.
The vessel arrives to the Shipyard on January 10th and leaves the floating dock on January, 20th, doing the following docking works: - High pressure hull cleaning (400 bars)
- Hull Painting
- Thickness measurements with report
- Sea Valves checking
- Cleaning of sea chests
- Re-new of zinc anodes of 11 kg
- Clearances of shaft and rudder.
- HP cleaning and measurement and report of both anchor chains. The chain box was cleaning and painted.
- Cleaning and checking of different ballast tanks.

The vessel GREEN NOSTALGIC belong to the Owner SEA TRADE GRONINNGEN BV,
contact with us for an emergency docking of their vessel to change the blades of the controllable pitch propeller because two of them had serious damages. The vessel arrived to the floating dock on January 4th 2007 and working with shifts, the 24 hours, allowed to finish all the necessary works to change the four blades and left the floating dock on January 6th 2007, early in the morning. |
